Addressing Dangerous Road Issue in Tadzewu, Ketu North District

In Tadzewu, within the Ketu North District Assembly, a significant road hazard has emerged, posing a serious risk to road users. This danger, located behind Wovenu Basic School, has the potential to cause accidents at any time.

Upon assessing the situation, the Volta Times Youth Community recognized the urgency of the matter. The road, which has been partially cut off, presented a grave threat to anyone traveling in the area. Understanding that immediate action was necessary, our community members came together with a practical solution.

Our Action:

To mitigate the danger, we decided to cordon off the affected area using caution tape, supported by sticks reinforced with cement and bamboo. This makeshift barrier serves as a warning to drivers and pedestrians, alerting them to the hazard ahead.

This initiative reflects our commitment to taking proactive steps, however small, to improve the safety and well-being of our communities.

Recognition:

We are proud to share that Edem Agbana, a notable figure in our region, came to witness our efforts firsthand. He, along with the local Assemblyman, commended our team for taking swift action to address this critical issue. Their support encourages us to continue our mission of making meaningful contributions to the development and safety of our communities.

At Volta Times Youth Community, we believe that every small action counts, and we are dedicated to doing whatever we can to make our region a safer and better place for all. Thank you to all who contributed to this effort, and let's continue working together to improve our communities.
